Lazy French Toast

Lazy French Toast
This morning I whipped up some Lazy French Toast, scrambled eggs, & fruit.
Just because it's always fun to eat food in fun shapes (it doesn't matter how old you are!),
I thought I would make Heart Shaped French Toast to surprise Ana. She enjoyed it so!
This could be a good idea for a Valentine Breakfast for loved ones, so I'm going to
share what I call Lazy French Toast with you. Don't forget a Heart cookie
cutter to make Happy Hearts for Breakfast!

What you need:
Natures Own Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread
Milk
Eggs
Vanilla Extract

Steps:

         1.  Mix 1-2 cups of Milk (depending on how many pieces of
bread you will be dipping, you can always add more as you go),
dash of Vanilla  Extract, 1-2 eggs (It's really up to you)

2. Dip bread in milk mixture, and then place bread in
large skillet or on griddle & cook until golden brown on both sides

Enjoy!!

As Always, I would love to hear if you try this.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Super Easy Cinnamon Rolls!

I know lots of people who don't even eat breakfast or just eat it occasionally, but in this house that is the 1st thing we do when we wake up. We go straight to the kitchen and things start rocking and rolling.  We usually eat healthy things, so I'm not a big fan of store bought Cinnamon rolls with loads & loads of sugar.  Recently, I have been seeing Cinnamon Roll recipes all over the Internet that require lots of time & work.  Remember in our house we don't wait hours before we eat, so that just won't fly here. This Super Easy Cinnamon Roll Recipe takes very little time, and you can put as much sugar as you want!  I'm sure you can guess, that I use very Little:)) Please bare with me, this is my first time sharing a Recipe in blog land.

Super Easy Cinnamon Rolls

1 Can of Crescent Rolls (It works great with any brand, I tested the name brand & store brand)
Melted Butter
Sugar
Cinnamon
Raisins, Pecans, Walnuts ( All are optional)

Icing     (not required, they are delicious & mess free without. Which is GREAT with Toddlers!)
2% Milk
Confection sugar

OR

Honey
Peanut Butter
Soy Milk

Directions
1- Follow the Crescent Roll Can directions for Preheat temperature & cook time. The Can I used this morning was 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes. Spray pan with non stick spray.

2- Open Can & roll out into two rectangles  (This is an opportunity to make two different types of Cinnamon Rolls)

3- Spoon Melted Butter on both pieces ( I used a total of 2 tablespoons, but you can gladly add more)

4-Mix together the filling ingredients, Sugar, Cinnamon, Raisins, Pecans  (Don't forget you can pick & choose the ingredients & the amounts! <---The Best thing about this Recipe
I fill each rectangle with different ingredients. One with little to no sugar with raisins, and pecans & the other with loads of Raisins.  Then roll the dough pieces up & cut each roll into 6 slices

5- Put all slices in pan with the flat sides down, and bake for 10-13 minutes

Icing
Option 1:
1- Heated up about 1/4 of 2% Milk
2- Mixed in Powder sugar ( as much as u want)

Option 2:
1- Heated up Soy Milk
2- Mixed 2 tablespoons of Peanut Butter & dash of Honey
I LOVE Peanut Butter! Whatever I have left over after icing my rolls, I put on my plate & dip my rolls in for extra Yummy Protein:))

Prep Time = 10 minutes
Cook Time = 10- 13 minutes
Yields = 12 Rolls

Enjoy:))
